🦷 Evie leave next week. Before she heads out of town she needed to be spayed & have a dental. She had very thick tartar on all teeth, breath was bad & you could tell it hurt sometimes, she prefers soft food.
Evie is still recovering from anesthesia but WOW, her teeth look brand new ✨ Pre-op bloodwork looked good, spay site looks good, no irritation to the gums, bright enamel & her breath smells better. The tech who performed the dental said there was no need to pull any teeth & once the tartar was off, nothing else needed to be done!
Thank you to the team at Young's Animal Hospital for taking great care of Ms. Evie 🙌

🏥 Evie’s surgeries totaled $465, her bill is paid. Any help towards recouping these costs or sharing her story is always a big help. Every interaction helps us generate the ability to do this again for the next Pup 🐶

It’s $5 Friday ♨️
We’ve got some deserving dogs heading to their new homes on transport, and every 💲helps us get them there. Transports happen in state & out of state after each dog is cleared by our veterinary team prior to travel. We are lucky to have some amazing rescue partners who help us place Hill County dogs into wonderful homes 🏠

This week’s Transports 🚘

1️⃣ Mama June showed up in Itasca as a dump/stray and 2 weeks later had a litter under someone’s carport. Mama & her 6 *FAT* puppies saw the vet & are in good health. Mama needs to keep gaining weight but she looks much better. They are heading out tomorrow 🙌

2️⃣ The Newspaper Litter also came from Itasca. Their Mama was a dump/stray who had puppies on someone’s property. Tragically she was shot and killed. Once she has her puppies, she was scared and acted aggressively towards the property owners. Half of the litter went to a rescue in Houston & we bottle raised these 4 precious pups. They saw the vet this week & we’re all cleared to travel They head to their new homes tomorrow 🙌

3️⃣ Bug was found on a private dirt road, 2 # and covered in 100’s of Red Ant bites + fleas + worms. He healed up quickly & doubled in weight. Bug saw the vet & received a clean bill of health. He left on transport this week at 5.5 # & he is already in his new home 🙌

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Breaker woke up in Pennsylvania at his new foster home and was instantly surrounded by Reflextion Ranch Family. Literally.
🤩 THREE 3️⃣ Ranch Alumni enjoy a loving & spoiled life with the Voras Family. Kimmie (not pictured) was busy lounging inside while Fern & Goose (fka The Dude) were quick to make sure Breaker knows who is in charge of security & patrols 👮 Along with the rest of their special pack, The Voras’ dedicate much of their life to helping Rescue Dogs & Veterans.

🛑 👀 We invite everyone to check out the Documentary about the Voras Family + their special pack of 2,3 & 4 legged dogs…. Yes, you read that correctly 😜 A beautiful tribute to the dedication & love they have for each member of their paw family 🐾

🐒 🙈 🐵 Larry, Curly & Moe are ready for the next chapter in their lives 🏠 This trio of fun was found dumped in Hillsboro, Texas in April. Larry was picked up by Animal Control & taken to the city shelter. Curly & Moe were picked up by a passerby a couple blocks from Larry.
They were happy to be reunited & have been getting chunky here at the Ranch 😜 They are very smart, energetic, handler focused, slightly cautious, always silly & gentle 🫶
