Snohomish County is gathering public input to help guide future investments in parks, trails, and recreation. This is an important opportunity to share why mountain bike trails are valuable to you, your family, and the broader community. Learn more here: https://snohomishcountywa.gov/889/Park-Planning

Every response helps ensure that the needs and priorities of the mountain bike community are represented as future investments and resources are considered. Take a few minutes to complete the survey before June 19: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WNSZRVD

People who complete the survey have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a two-night stay at a Snohomish County campground (any cabin, yurt or campsite).

Your weekend plans just got better🤠

HLC: OFFICIALLY OPEN!

Thanks to the dedication and momentum of the Dirt Wizards Trail Crew; They took on one mega task!

After the November ‘24 bomb cyclone shut down their side project (Side Hustle), they shifted to Duthie. Spending every weekend through April restoring upper HLC, adding a new drop, and rebuilding the step-up. That month turned into many months. From there, they mapped out and brought to life an entirely new second half of the trail🙌

Over the past 7 months the Dirt Wizard Trail Crew brought this project to life!
🪏28 work parties
🪏All weather conditions
🪏1,200+ volunteer hours

Their goal? Keep the original HLC feel, but evolve it for modern bikes- longer, more consistent transitions and a top-to-bottom flow with features you won’t find anywhere else at Duthie.

This wouldn’t have been possible without support from EMBA and generous member donations- one feature alone can cost hundreds in materials!

Huge thanks to everyone who showed up, dug in, and made this happen.

Fun Fact: Each feature has been named after all the trail pups! Past and present🐾🐶

Trails don’t maintain themselves. It takes a highly dedicated chapter, staff and volunteers together to maintain the thousands of miles of trails we have across the state of WA. Your donations and memberships transfer directly back to the trails we ride. Donate today at the link in our bio!

Thanks Chris Lynch and Crew + Pups for all you do✊

Get Your Favorite Trails Ready to RIDE!

Tiger Mountain and Raging River see over 150,000 riders a year — and our public maintenance funding just got cut.

These aren’t just trails. They’re Washington’s most-ridden systems! Without this campaign, the drainage fails, the tread craters, and the flow disappears. The forest reclaims their territory.

Your gift funds the professional crews, machine work, tools and materials to keep these trails and features riding exactly the way they should.

The state stepped back. We get to step up✊

Tiger and Raging River see 150,000+ riders a year👀

This spring, the state cut our maintenance funding. Which means that we have to step up to cover it ourselves.

What does maintenance include?
• Clearing debris – removing fallen branches, rocks, pine needles and whatever else!
• Brushing – cutting back overgrown vegetation so the trail corridor stays open. Line of sight wide open!
• Drain clearing – cleaning out drainage features (like grade reveals and culverts) so water flows off the trail instead of down it. No more ruts!
• Tread repair/ Features- nobody likes brake bumps and ruts. We repair the tread surface and reduce erosion while restoring features back to their original shape. Keeping the flow, FAST.

If you ride these trails, this is your chance to keep them the way they should be!

Visit evergreenmtb.org to donate to this project and many more across the state of Washington. We appreciate it!
