Fenders on Front 2026 — What to Expect This Year

Front Street is gearing up for one of Issaquah’s favorite Father’s Day traditions. Now in its 19th year, Fenders on Front is more than a classic car show — it’s a day filled with stories, nostalgia, and community moments that span generations.

This year, expect blocks of gleaming classics, families settling in with lawn chairs, raffles for mom, scavenger hunts and ice cream for the kids, and plenty of people‑watching for everyone. Founder Marv Nielsen is celebrating a milestone of his own as his daughter enters a car in the show for the first time — a reminder of how this event keeps traditions alive and growing.

Nearly 10,000 visitors come each year to stroll, reminisce, and make new memories together. The real classic isn’t just the cars — it’s the tradition itself.

Before the long weekend, the festivities, and before the first taste of summer, Memorial Day asks us to remember.
To remember the lives given in service.
The empty seats at family tables.
The courage that echoes across generations.
We honor those sacrifices not only with flags and ceremonies, but with gratitude carried forward in how we care for our community and one another.
The City of Issaquah - Government will host a Memorial Day Ceremony on May 25th from 10 to 11 p.m. as our community comes together to reflect, remember, and honor those who never came home. It will be held at the Issaquah Senior Center, 75 NE Creek Way.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is hosted by the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3436. Speaking remarks will be delivered by Mayor Mark Mullet.
