About Talus
Talus community is perched on scenic Cougar Mountain with nearby access to hundreds of acres of protected forestland and hiking trails. This 630-acre master-planned community combines the beauty of a nature setting and the convenience of easy access to freeway and arterials. Nestled at the base of Cougar Mountain, Talus has access to a trail network of about 200 miles and a nature preserve of more than 20,000 acres. While over 600 acres in size—only 25% of those acres are developed and lived-in, leaving a great expanse of untouched nature surrounding and flowing through the environmentally sensitive neighborhoods. Talus contains several neighborhoods consisting of single-family homes, townhomes, rental apartments, and a retirement community. Supported by Issaquah’s excellent schools, services, retail and activities, the Talus community makes for a way of life like no other.
