Interact Club of Issaquah Issaquah Interact is a Rotary sponsored youth community service club for 9-12 grade students

Interact (AKA International-Action) is a Rotary sponsored youth service club for 9-12 grade students in the greater ISD area. Interact helps develop students into civic leaders that create positive, lasting change in their communities, and the world. There is a global network of more than 23,000 Interact Clubs in 159 countries. Membership is open to all high school students in the Greater Issaquah

area, and beyond. We are student-led and our members control all aspects of the club, including the development of innovative new community service projects, both locally and internationally. Issaquah Rotary Club members provide us with mentorship, guidance and developmental opportunities. Meetings are always from 4:30-5:30pm at the ISD 411 Admin Building.
- We alternate between meeting on Mondays & Wednesdays.

- Members can attend in-person or virtually.
- You can expect plenty of snacks and good times :)

ITS RYLA TIME!!! 11 of our current members were able to attend as both campers and small group leaders! Attending RYLA gave our members the opportunity to grow as leaders, build confidence, step into their stretch zone, and connect with many other young leaders. We’re so proud of everyone who attended and can’t wait to see how you continue to lead our club and community.

For just $10 admission, we will be serving Chipotle and listening to firsthand presentations about the Troubled Teen Industry! For $10, you can also pay to pie one of these Interact members in the face—all proceeds go to Unsilenced!

3 of our Interactors had the incredible opportunity to attend the Rotary District 5030 Conference this past weekend! Two of our members even took the stage as speakers, sharing their experiences and representing Interact. Throughout the conference, we were able to do outreach about Interact, share more about other Rotary youth programs, and hard launch the Interact District Council.

We were given the chance to network with Rotarians from across Washington, building meaningful connections and strengthening our community.

We also participated in a variety of breakout sessions led by speakers, where we gained valuable insights and new ideas. It was an inspiring and impactful experience that we’re so grateful to have been part of!

A couple weeks ago, our Interactors headed down to Food Lifeline in West Seattle, a local nonprofit helping to end hunger and food insecurity. Our organization was able to repackage nearly 1,500 pounds of rice for food banks and families in the area. Go Interact! 💪
