The Undergarment Society

The Undergarment Society Provides new bras and underwear to girls/women escaping domestic violence or enduring homelessness. The Undergarment Society, empowering women to start anew.

Our mission is to provide new undergarments to women living in transitional housing as a result of domestic violence, homelessness, or other unsafe conditions. New bras and underwear provide dignity to women who are forced to start anew. While shelters provide assistance such as temporary housing and used clothes, we feel brand new undergarments will empower vulnerable women and girls to make a po

sitive change for themselves. Party with a Purpose
The Undergarment Society invites women in Charleston to host a “Party with a Purpose.” By attaching donation collection to established and new women’s groups, we can harness the power of community. When like-minded women come together to socialize, a “Party with A Purpose” creates avenues for meaningful social change.

Passing along information on this book written by my dear friend Franceska. Sur Thriving is a book about breaking the cycle of childhood poverty, abuse and trauma. You can order on Amazon. I highly recommend this book and know so many of the organizations and people we help as well as our supporters will be inspired by it.
