Rental housing Units now available on Isle au Haut through the ICDC

The Isle au Community Development Corporation (ICDC) is excited to announce the availability of three rental units on Isle au Haut! The ICDC was formed in 1990 to provide affordable housing and opportunities to attract new families to the island. The program offers rentals for up to five years while new residents establish themselves and move toward independent housing. Since its beginning, ICDC has brought numerous families to the island, many of whom have stayed or maintained life-long connections with the island and community.

We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions and fill out an interest form if you wish to receive an application packet. Interest forms are available at: https://www.isleauhaut.org/community-resources/current-opportunities/

We will have a small 2-bedroom 1200 sq ft home available late July and 2 two single bedroom apartments available in our newly renovated duplex each approximately 850 sq feet in mid-August.

Our website at Isle au Haut, Community Development Corporation is available for basic information, however we are currently updating. The applications and processes available on the website are out of date and you should request a current application packet by filling out the online interest form.

Heads up! ICDC will soon have housing availability at our newly renovated duplex on Coombs Mountain. We are accepting inquiries from folks interested in moving to Isle au Haut. Please fill out the interest form at the link below. This will get you on the email distribution list for notification when we start accepting housing applications! We hope to start reviewing applications late spring 2026. The best way to reach out to us with interest or with random questions is through the interest form.
