DLG Foundation The DLG Foundation is being established with the hope of simply helping others. Jason had a huge heart and never shied away from giving.

We lost our beloved Jason de la Garza on Monday, February 23rd, 2015. Diagnosed with gastric cancer after a visit to the ER revealed a mass in his stomach, he suffered a cardiac event after a week-long stay in the hospital and did not survive. At just 41 years old, Jason was too young to be taken from us. As a life-long Chicagoan, Jason loved his city, his Bears and his Cubs! He lived a wonderful

life here in Illinois and all of his friends and family miss him dearly. Jason was a proud and confident Christian and was ALWAYS ready and willing to help someone who needed something. Everyone will agree he was an amazing, good, genuine, faithful and happy man. He WALKED the WALK, consistently. We want to keep his generous spirit and his unconditional love alive. Jason made a difference in this world, and now it is our job to continue that.
