Ten members enjoyed the LeMoyne Star workshop on Saturday with instructor Debbie Kalenty. Stars of various sizes were created after everyone achieved a 6-inch block. Can’t wait to see these Celestial quilts in future Show & Tells.

Our May meeting covered a full agenda, including plans for next year’s programs and activities, as well as Quilt Show highlights and successes. Guest speaker Debbie Kalenty presented the impressive capabilities of the Tucker Rulers. Unfortunately, we ran out of time before Show & Tell.

We are saddened to share this news. Our founder, friend and fellow quilter has died. Minabess taught many of us to quilt and shared her love for quilting with us. There will be a service for her on Saturday, May 16th at 5 pm. at the Assembly of God Church on Bay Avenue in Toms River. All are welcome.
