Sadly due to the weather, the Memorial Day Ceremonies were cancelled yesterday in Island Falls, Maine.
We want to thank those who put the flags on each veterans final resting place, those who also came despite the weather in order to honor their family or community members, and even those who were strangers who came to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to their country.
We salute those men and women who put all of us before themselves, for without them, we would not have had the freedoms we all have enjoyed.
