The Protect Center is a whale and dolphin hospital facility in Islamorada, in the Florida Keys. On-site there are hospital facilities and the Exploratorium (our marine life & conservation museum), in addition to an eco-friendly giftshop & household refillery! Sales from our gift shop and museum admission directly support our development of the facility and our nonprofit's mission to rescue and protect wild whales and dolphins!

Have you been to Sea of Trees?

Christmas arrived at The Protect Center weeks ago, but the holiday sparkle and cheer is still here every day from 9-5! We are open late for our last set of select nights this weekend, Thursday-Sunday until 9pm. We have magical trees, sustainable gifts, and lots to learn about in our Exploratorium!
