Amount: $10.00 per ticket

Comments: Please make sure you enter “Butterfly Donation”

How this works:
• A FIASP board member monitors each transaction.
• The name and contact information you provide will be placed on each numbered ticket according to the amount you donate in increments of $10.00.
• Tickets are limited to 250.
• The ticket drawing will take place at the annual Lignumvitae Christmas Friend Raiser on Saturday, December 5th. You do not need to be present to win.

Join us at Curry Hammock State Park for our 9th Annual Starry Starry Night Program!

We’re excited to welcome back Libby and Jay Elliott of the Florida Keys Astronomy Club for another season of exploring the night sky!

Come discover the wonders of the universe, learn about stars, planets, and constellations, and enjoy a beautiful evening of stargazing right here in the Florida Keys.

January–March: Arrive by 6:30 PM

Programs begin at nightfall.

Lawn chairs, family, friends, and curiosity!
All ages and experience levels are welcome.

Pedaling for a Purpose!

We loved being part of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society bike ride in the beautiful Florida Keys!

Curry Hammock State Park was a refreshing pit stop for these amazing cyclists as they made their journey back to Key Largo! A little rest, some refreshments, and plenty of smiles before hitting the road again!

A HUGE shoutout to all the riders, organizers, and volunteers who made this incredible event possible. We were happy to play a small part in such a meaningful cause!

Keep pedaling, keep inspiring, and we’ll see you next year!

What an AMAZING day at Curry Hammock State Park!

We had a BLAST celebrating Día de los Peregrinos – Day of the Peregrine Falcon on October 10th!

Over 400 peregrine falcons were counted soaring over Curry Hammock! What an incredible day for bird migration in the Florida Keys!

From guided bird walks and fun educational activities to Junior Ranger adventures, there was something for everyone! We even had the pleasure of swearing in lots of new Junior Rangers!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to support our parks and to our amazing staff, volunteers, Florida Keys Hawkwatch, Marathon Wild Bird Center, and all the wonderful organizations and individuals who helped make this event such a success!

Check out some of our favorite moments from the day! So many smiles, so much learning, and so many great memories!

We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

Hawkwatch is here through October 31st, and the best time to catch the migration is between 9 AM–5 PM.

🌎 Did you know the Florida Keys is the migration capital of the world for the peregrine falcon! That makes this a pretty amazing place to grab your binoculars and look to the skies!
