Woodbridge Garden Club - NJ Friends coming together to talk about gardening, nature, and other fun topics

The WGC maintains the Garden-For-The-Blind and Physically Handicapped established May, 1974. It is located adjacent to the parking lot at the Iselin Branch of the Woodbridge Free Public Library in Iselin, NJ. The garden is certified as a Monarch Waystation by Monarch Watch and a National Wildlife Federation Wildlife Habitat.

Yesterday Rutgers student volunteers came to help us begin the cleanup of the garden of the blind. Their enthusiasm was infectious for us all. Thanks to Angie, Linda S, Linda H, Joan, Debbie,Tammy, Sandy, Roberta and Peter for coming yesterday to get things moving. It was a rough winter and we spent 3 plus hours raking, pruning, picking up branches and debris and filled 45+bags for pickup. Luckily the weather cooperated. Started off on the cold side but the sun warmed things up. Ideal weather. The daffodils were blooming and the garden looks great.
Thank you all for your hard work.
