Young Men Striving For Greatness, Inc. YMSG stands for Young Men Striving for Greatness. We are here to bring a positive light to our commun Some of our young men aren't lost at all.

We are here to bridge the gap between our young inner city males and the “hard to reach” concept of opportunity. They have just strayed away and need a little bit of guidance. We specialize in job/college placement, group and 1 on 1 mentoring, teaching gentlemen etiquette, homework and school tutoring, athlete training, summer and after school programming, as well as creating volunteer & community

service opportunities. We aim to reach our young men via social media, word of mouth, and different activities geared to attract them from all walks of life. Everyone has a story. Through this program, our story will be told. Through this program, your story can be written. With this program, we can, and will, strive to build better outstanding gentlemen.

NO KING LEFT BEHIND

We were challenged to reenact the Negro Silent Protest from 1917 this past weekend and I must say the movement was beyond words. Our silence marching through the streets of Newark NJ gave a positive uproar from the community. Young boys watching Kings marching for a cause had them raised their fists in gratitude that one day they will be the next leaders of our historical city.

I’m truly thankful for the brothers that came out in 97 degree heat to not only march for a cause but to speak to the community about education, leadership, prison reform, health and wellness/mental health and how we can support our black businesses within the community. This is only the beginning. We’re NOT HERE TO SET TRENDS (I REPEAT) WE’RE NOT HERE TO SET TRENDS, WE’RE HERE TO SET STANDARDS. We will keep marching until our demands are met and until Breonna Taylor’s shooters are brought into justice.

The Revolution will be televised.....



The movement is happening.
