Did You Know?

In Texas, roughly 40% of those released from prison return within three years. Yet, studies show that strong family support, employment plans, and community preparation can significantly reduce that rate.

At Least of These Prison Ministries, we believe in second chances, but we also believe second chances need preparation. That’s why we help families create parole packets and reentry plans that build hope—and reduce the cycle.

Want to be part of someone’s path forward? Let’s build a future with fewer returns and more redemptions.

Did you know that many individuals come under parole review up to six months before their projected eligibility date?

That means preparation can’t start at the last minute.

Parole review is not just about time served — it’s about demonstrated growth, accountability, and a solid reentry plan. The more organized and thorough your support documents are, the better your loved one’s case can be presented.

Important documents may include:

• Home plans
• Employment letters
• Character reference letters
• Program completion certificates
• Community support documentation

It’s a long road home — but there are ways to strengthen your chances.

Preparation matters.
Structure matters.
Support matters.

If your loved one is approaching review and you’re unsure where to begin, reach out. We’re here to help you walk through the process the right way.

Forgiveness doesn’t excuse the pain.
It doesn’t erase the past.
And it doesn’t pretend the hurt didn’t happen.

But forgiveness opens the door to healing.

If your loved one is incarcerated, you may be carrying disappointment, anger, confusion, or grief. That’s real. And God sees that.

But Scripture reminds us:

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32

Forgiveness is not weakness.
It’s strength rooted in grace.

Sometimes the greatest breakthrough in reentry doesn’t start inside a prison — it starts inside a heart willing to release bitterness.

Healing families rebuild communities.
And redemption is still possible.

If you’re struggling with forgiveness, you’re not alone. We’re here to pray with you and walk alongside you.

Christmas Eve reminds us that hope often begins quietly.

Tonight, as families gather and lights fill our homes, we remember those spending this season behind bars—and the loved ones missing a chair at the table. A phone call, a prayer, a letter, or simply remembering their name can mean everything right now.

At Least of These Prison Ministries, we believe Christmas is about second chances, redemption, and the light that still shines in the darkest places. No one is forgotten. No one is beyond hope.

If you or someone you love is incarcerated, know this: you matter, you are seen, and your story is not over.

🎄 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

Merry Christmas Eve.

As the holiday season approaches, it’s a wonderful time to remember the power of community support. Even small acts of kindness—like volunteering an hour of your time, donating warm clothing, or simply offering a word of encouragement—can make a big difference for those who need a little extra hope. Let’s come together and show that the spirit of giving is alive and well this Christmas.

Today, we want to share how truly important it is to reach out to your loved ones who are incarcerated—especially as the holidays approach. A simple answered phone call, a letter, holiday card, or even just a digital message can turn their entire week around. During this Christmas season, these small gestures of connection and encouragement mean more than you can imagine. It reminds them they have something to come home to and that they haven’t been forgotten. If you need help figuring out how to do this, we’re here to guide you. Your support can bring them hope and a sense of peace this holiday season.

OUR MISSION ✝️
At Least of These Prison Ministries, our heart is simple:

To guide second chances through faith.

We serve:
🔹 Men and women currently incarcerated
🔹 Individuals returning home after prison
🔹 Families impacted by incarceration
🔹 Anyone seeking hope, redemption, and a fresh start

We believe in:
❤️ Restoration
🙏 Spiritual mentorship
🤝 Community
🕊️ Reentry support
✝️ The transforming power of Jesus Christ

This ministry was built by people who’ve seen first hand how the system is lacking— who know what it’s like, who know what freedom feels like, and who know the power of God to rebuild a life from the ground up.

This is our calling.
This is our mission.
And this is only the beginning.

Least of These Prison Ministries is officially underway. 🙏

This picture was taken while I was still incarcerated. Derek and I sat across from one another and talked about faith, redemption, and the calling God placed on our lives. We talked about what it would look like to one day create a ministry that would reach back into the places of darkness — to help men and women find hope, healing, and a second chance through Christ.

At the time, it was only a conversation… just two brothers believing God for something bigger than ourselves.

Today, that promise has become reality.

Least of These Prison Ministries is now formed, recognized, and moving forward with a mission to:
✝️ Bring the gospel into prisons
🤝 Walk with men and women after release
🏠 Support reentry, community, and restoration
🕊️ Guide second chances with faith

This ministry was born out of lived experience, a lot of pain, a whole lot of grace, and a belief that no one is too far gone for God to restore.

We’re just getting started — but God is already moving.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, prayed, encouraged, and believed in this vision. The best is ahead.

Guiding Second Chances With Faith.
