Hindi Mela May 11, 2025
We hosted our much anticipated Hindi Mela, one of the annual highlights of our Hindi language program. This vibrant event is designed to recreate the festive atmosphere of a traditional Indian mela, offering students a unique, fun, and immersive opportunity to practice Hindi in real-life scenarios.
Students actively participated by buying items and were encouraged to interact with sellers and fellow students in Hindi, making it a fun and immersive language experience. This event is eagerly awaited by students, parents, teachers, and volunteers alike. This year, we had around 20 stalls offering a wonderful mix of books, toys, plants, games, face painting, mehndi, and about 10 varieties of food items. We also had a special stall where students could make Mother’s Day cards for their mothers, this was a big hit with both kids and parents!
We were thrilled to see such enthusiastic participation of our students, their families, and volunteers coming together to make this event memorable. It was heartwarming to witness so many happy, smiling faces enjoying the various activities and delicious food.
Heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped—whether directly or behind the scenes in making this Hindi Mela a grand success! 🙏🙏
