The name Candy’s Children’s Foundation (CCF) is inspired and dedicated in memory of my sister, Candace “Candy” Melaine Favors (December 14, 1957 – July 27, 2012). Candy dedicated her life to exhibiting her love and care of others no matter what the expense or the effort on her part. Candy was so full of love and sacrifice, she loved and cared for every child that came within her path and she did i
t so willingly and without hesitation. The purpose of CCF is pay everything forward that my sister Candy has given to me and anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting her. The most gratifying way that I know of is to be able to help as many children, teens, and young adults as possible. We at CCF are aware that we will not be able to help everyone, but we are realistic in knowing that if we can successfully help only one that will go a long way and enable that one to pay it forward to someone else who is in need. We believe that by sharing common values and life experiences we can increase the opportunity of each child in the community and empower them to make better decisions. We are a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of skills, life experience, and expertise. Our goal is to make a difference in a child's life and those who directly affect them. We don't just stand on the sideline, we’re in the game. Let’s get engaged!!
