The University of Dallas Student Foundation

The University of Dallas Student Foundation UD's oldest and only student-run student-funded organization, perpetuating tradition, tightening bonds with alumni, and providing community service.

The University of Student Foundation is the university's oldest student-run organization. It is also the only organization run and supported exclusively by students. The constitution of Student Foundation stats that SF was formed "to promote the unique character of the student body" and to carry out "volunteer services among the student body, the local community, and university alumni." SF funds a

nd facilitates a number of campus events including the Tower Film Festival, the Groundhog 5K, and the Shindig on Jerome Hill. In addition to its own projects SF assists other clubs of the university with their respective events. The Tower Achievement Program, a project that offers tutoring services to the children of families living in Tower Village Apartments, comprises most of SF's volunteer work in the broader Dallas/Irving community.
