A Heartfelt Thank You from the 2026 PRDC Summer Getaway

It was an absolute joy sharing so much laughter, fun, and camaraderie at the 2026 PRDC Summer Getaway. It was the perfect way to celebrate the summer season and relax after such a fantastic start to our year.

We are incredibly grateful you could join us for some well-deserved sunshine on the sandy shores of Island View Lake Texoma and at Tanglewood Resort. Our time line dancing and square dancing with the fantastic Dustin de la Garza band at Gilley's Durant was unforgettable!

A huge thank you to our lovely ladies, queens, and teams for being the heart of this crew and for your wonderful contributions to the trip. Reading your kind feedback that the weekend was "united, great, perfect, enjoyable, and most especially lots of fun" is truly heartwarming. Memories like these are absolutely priceless!

You did it again! The soaring temperatures during yesterday’s Dream Fest-Event, August 1, were no match for the burning passion and dedication of the PRDC Ms. Philippines Independence Texas Pageant team. Led by the dynamic chairwoman, Jerlyn McAuliffe, alongside her magnificent reigning queens—Gloria Obana, Liz Ames, and Virginia Buca—they brought an extraordinary showcase of talent and heart to the celebration. Driven by a shared love for music and a desire to cultivate high-energy community vibes, they successfully rallied the crowd to champion the Alive & Beautiful Mission. Their collective efforts directly support "the Dreamers"—incredible, resilient children battling or overcoming cancer—aiming to gift them and their families joyful, life-changing experiences, including unforgettable dream trips to Disneyland.

A resounding salute goes out to the artistic visionaries and community pillars who brought the day to life with their profound generosity and spirit:

Dance E Motion and Susan Decorey

EDDM Philippine Dance and Lilian Reyes

Artistic International Empowerment and Son Nguyen

Arnold Buca, Anna Repono, and Lena Berryhill

Through their shared performances and the vibrant community, they brought together, they filled the day with unforgettable magic. Heartfelt congratulations are in order for Dr. Angelica Benavidez, Rose Flores, and the entire Alive & Beautiful Board for orchestrating a phenomenally successful and deeply memorable event!
