PAUL and KATHY TAVANO INVITE YOU TO JOIN THE 2025-26
MAKE MONDAYS MATTER FOOTBALL POOL TO CURE ALS!
WHAT IS IT?
The pool lasts all season long to help raise funds for ALS research at the same time! This pool covers 20 NFL games:
• 17 regular season Monday Night Football games, starting September 8 and ending December 29. When 2 games are played on a Monday night, we will choose (and let you know) which game will be our pool game.
• 3 Thanksgiving Day games
HOW IT WORKS:
• Just like a Super Bowl pool, the board will hold 100 squares.
• You can buy as many squares as you’d like.
• Any squares not purchased will be filled in as CURE ALS, and the payout will go toward ALS research.
• All season long, the name in each square remains the same.
• However, the numbers that will determine the winner will be randomly chosen each week. Also, there will be different numbers for each of the 3 games played on Thanksgiving Day. A picture of the board will be emailed to you each week.
• Only the final score determines the winner of each game. The winner will be announced each week.
ENTRY FEE AND PRIZE POOL:
• Entry fee is a one-time $40 per box to cover the whole regular season.
- $20 goes into the prize pool.
- $20 is donated directly to CURE ALS to fund ALS research.
WHO CAN ENTER?
• Anyone who pays their entry fee may join!
• Please share this invitation with your family, friends, and co-workers! Let’s raise lots of money for ALS research! Let’s fund the cure!
TO BE ELIGIBLE:
• To be eligible for the prize, entry fees must be paid or checks mailed/postmarked BEFORE Monday, September 1.
HOW TO ENTER:

Add the box number(s) to your Venmo or Zelle payment notes/memos.
2. Pay entry fee of $40 per box:

- Check payable to Kathy Tavano and mailed to: 600 Bridlewood Court – Irving, TX 75063 (must be postmarked BEFORE Monday, September 1)
• If you are paying for multiple people, please add the name(s) to your Venmo or Zelle payment notes/memos or send a note with your check.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
ALS strikes not only old guys like Paul, but young guys and girls too. Last year, shortly after her wedding, our long-time friends’ new 30-year-old daughter-in-law Tiffany, an accomplished college athlete, started having unexplained weakness in her legs and ultimately was diagnosed with ALS. Their future as a married couple that they started just months earlier and that they’d dreamed about for years was shattered. We want Tiffany and her husband, Josh, to know that they aren’t alone in this fight. We want them to know that together, we will CURE ALS.
