We looked around our community and saw people who were stuck, unable to take a better job, access good food or take their kids to the doctor, all because they lacked one thing—reliable transportation. When we sought to understand why people were driving older, polluting vehicles that broke down all the time, we discovered the problem … and the solution. Through education, credit coaching and peer

support, we are helping people develop the knowledge and skills to become strong, low-risk borrowers and avoid the trap of loans they cannot possibly repay. Whether someone becomes a client or not, we want to help them build a strong life. A car is not a luxury but a necessity. We began with car loans because it is an essential building block to a strong life. Job skills training means little if a person cannot get to the job. School choice means little if the school is inaccessible. Healthier food choices mean little if the store is miles away. On the Road Lending can solve these problems by providing access to reliable transportation. An affordable loan for a fuel-efficient and reliable car makes all of this possible. On the Road Lending is an alternative for borrowers with low credit scores or no credit in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Texas.

Winter to Spring Car Maintenance: Get Your Ride Ready for Warmer Days

As the seasons change, so do the needs of your vehicle. Transitioning from winter to spring is the perfect time to check in on your car’s health and make sure it’s ready for the road ahead.

Here are a few key steps to keep your car running smoothly:
-Check Your Tires – Cold weather can lower tire pressure, so check and adjust it to the recommended levels. Also, inspect for any wear or damage from winter roads.
-Replace Wiper Blades & Refill Fluids – Spring showers are on the way! Make sure your wiper blades are in good condition and top off your windshield washer fluid for clear visibility.
-Test Your Battery – Winter can be tough on your car battery. Have it tested to ensure it’s holding a charge, so you don’t get stranded unexpectedly.
Inspect Brakes & Suspension – Potholes and icy roads can take a toll. Have your brakes, shocks, and struts checked to make sure they’re in top shape.
-Check the AC System – Warmer days are coming, so now is a great time to ensure your air conditioning system is working properly.
