What a SWEET CELEBRATION it is when these kids grow up right before our eyes, and become world changers! Our biggest congratulations to our newest college graduate, Olga Nyampinga!! She completed her degree at Mount Kenya University, in Tourism and Hospitality—the fastest growing industry in Rwanda! She has already secured a fantastic internship and is using every one of her incredible gifts to bring beauty and order and life to her community.
Olga is one of the first girls we got to know in 2011 and has been a dearly loved member of our His Chase family since the very beginning! And wanna know something AMAZING? She has had the same, steady, generous sponsor family for all thirteen years of her journey, and they have prayed for her, written her, and cared for her as one of their own all this time. THIS is the heartbeat of our ministry and the key to these students finding such successful paths. What a blessing you all are! 💙🙏🏼

It is our greatest joy to share the incredible success of our His Chase students, as we continue to see God’s hand of provision and protection and blessing on them over so many years.
And this one is especially sweet to share, because Norbert has worked tirelessly and so devotedly to earning his degree in Nursing from the Adventist University of Central Africa!
Norbert graduated with 429 fellow students, with only 20 earning a degree in Nursing, among whom he was granted highest distinction!
For as long as we’ve known Norbert, we have seen his dedication to his studies, as he has pursued the path he knew he wanted to follow, of meeting the needs of others through medical care. He will be a competent, caring nurse and will no doubt minister to people in need in so many ways, as he has already been doing in these years of training and education. We are so very proud of you, Norbert, and we are grateful not only to Jane and Claver, for their care and leadership of His Chase, but also for the generosity of those who continue to walk with and support our students, as they achieve such great things—for God’s glory and for the good of His kingdom.

On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the incredible young women of His Chase who are changing the world in so many ways. Whether they work as students, small businesses owners, teachers, environmental scientists, ministers, nurses, bakers, mothers, wives, or all of the above and a dozen other things—their joy, confidence, strength, and perseverance are truly the answered prayer of this ministry. This was not their path before, and now it is, thanks be to God!
And thank you to so many who started giving yesterday toward our $9600 funding need! We had TWENTY-ONE people give $100! Only 75 more are needed! Thank you for partnering with us to make the future path of so many women like these not only secure, but also limitless! We love you, ladies of His Chase! 💗

It’s hard to believe that every one of our students in this picture—taken five years ago—have now graduated, many are married, and some have children of their own. This ministry has been going strong for 11+ years—through the highest highs and lowest lows, and its continuation and success can only be explained as the act of a faithful and loving God, made tangible through countless acts of His faithful and loving people.
Due to rising costs, we are in need of a boost financially, faithful friends. Even when costs have risen in Rwanda (due to inflation but also due to more success for these kids!), we have tried our hardest to keep our requests consistent. The sponsorship costs have not increased, we have not done extra fundraisers, and yet, God has ALWAYS provided!
If you’ve been around here a while, you know we use every penny for these kids, that we don’t ask for money unless we really need it, AND that we believe that “a little bit from a lot of people will go a long way”! So, here we are, simply asking for 96 people who believe in these kids, to give a ONE-TIME donation of $100. Our deficit going into this next school term is $9650, and we know God will provide!
He has done it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. as He proves again and again that He is Father to the fatherless and the Provider of all of our needs! Happy New Year from Norbert, our superstar nursing student, who is finishing his last year, before he begins his nursing career.
In his greeting, Norbert emphasizes one of our core foundations of His Chase: we are a FAMILY and that means every member deserves every opportunity available, to walk through open doors and use every gift and talent God has given them.
Norbert says it beautifully: “His Chase is a family to me, because everything I want, everything I wish for, I get it through His Chase. It’s not like I insist through begging—no, they just do it freely and by that, I say that it’s just like a family.” ❤️ We could not say it any better than that. Happy New Year to all of you who have loved these kids like family—because that is what they are!

Today, we share a greeting from Moses, who is another of our seniors in highschool (called Senior 6 in Rwanda!). He has studied in the track of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology, and plans to continue his university studies to become a dentist. Moses is a quiet, but determined student and has always dazzled us with his genuine and kind smile.
In his words, “His Chase Foundation has helped me and guides me to do everything since my primary…as I’m reaching here, I’m going to thank you for what you have done for me.” Thank you—from us and from Moses—for seeing these kids through from kindergarten to college and beyond! We love that there is so much to catch up on by the end of this busy month of celebration! A few weeks ago, the women of His Chase (led by our generous Jane) got to throw a surprise bridal shower for our beloved Bridgette, who will be married in 2023. Each of these smiling faces are deeply adored and a precious part of our His Chase family. These women grew up together at Noel Orphanage, and are now a constant part of blessing and celebrating their sisters, in building marriages and families on the foundation of Christ. What a legacy they are living out together! I sure wish I was in this room for the worship, prayed, dancing, and laughter that you can FEEL through these pictures.

Well, friends! It’s been a minute…and SO much has happened over the last few months, that it feels impossible to share ALL that God continues to do for the kids of His Chase.
And what’s CRAZY is that our “kids” aren’t KIDS anymore! Did you know that, as of this fall, we have ZERO primary (elementary) school kids left? 😳😢❤️Our babies are all growing up! In fact, they’re not just growing up—they are rocking school, graduating with honors, getting amazing jobs, and starting families of their own. God is SO GOOD!! .
And this is where our ASK comes in. We were incredibly blessed by a few generous donors, who literally got us through the craziest two years of Covid, where our support for these students was so very crucial. And now, we are starting our ELEVENTH school year with 85 students remaining (from the more than 250 original students back in 2012!)
We now have:
•65 students in secondary school (7th-12th grades)
•20 students in university
•4 students in vocational training
And our deep desire is to continue the discipleship, life-on-life training, and education for these precious, brilliant kids in the final few years of fully supporting these young men and women, who spent their first years at Noel Orphanage. From day ONE, God has given them all that they need to change countless future generations, and we need YOU to simply partner with God and us in what He is ALREADY GOING TO DO!!
How can you help? The biggest thing we need is to renew our monthly sponsorships to support our annual budget of $100,000. This ALWAYS comes in, between one-time gifts, board support, and sponsors who continue to give…but to have the consistency of monthly support changes so much for this ministry!
