This little singleton kitten came from another home close to Carol’s property. At first, we thought he was part of the mama cat’s family that we trapped, but it turns out he wasn’t!

He’s doing well and is healthy, although he’s still a little spicy. With some time, patience, and socialization, I’m hopeful he’ll come around. My goal is to submit him soon for the Freedom Flight program so he can have the opportunity to find a wonderful forever home.

Monday, a lovely lady named Carol reached out to me about a mama cat and her babies. On Wednesday evening, with the help of Carol and her neighbor Lizzy, I brought my trap and we were able to safely catch mama and all five of her kittens in about two hours.

I was very fortunate that mama was not aggressive. I’ve given her a few days to decompress, and she has proven to be a very sweet girl. She is doing a wonderful job caring for her babies, and they are all safe and settling in nicely.
