We are deeply saddened by the devastating loss of Dr. Paul Farmer. He was physician and global health humanitarian that embraced the world’s most vulnerable people, and saved more lives than can be counted.
We at Saiyed Foundation - Nonprofit aim to carry on that legacy on delivering free healthcare to those in need and helping the vulnerable.
Our deepest sympathies and thoughts go out to Dr. Farmer’s family and Partners In Health

Known for his efforts to improve global health and as the founder of the nonprofit health organization Partners in Health, Farmer died in Rwanda at age 62.

Happy to all the women doctors! We have the utmost honor and respect of female physicians. We celebrate on Feb 3rd the courage of Elizabeth Blackwell and the accomplishments of female physicians across the world.

We regularly encounter uncontrolled hypertension( high blood pressure) patients. Sometimes it due to patient not being able to afford medications or access to a pharmacy ( most are over 1 hour away. Sometimes it’s not controlled with just one medication. Our doctors not only provide diagnosis but manage these difficult to control conditions by coordinating with specialist that patients wouldn’t have access to. The last picture shows a recent patient with bp of 170 that needed more medications that we are able to arrange at free of cost. Also note the kids are always fascinated by doctors checking their family members as most have never encountered this in small villages!

Women’s health in rural areas is underserved for many reasons. We often find women lack access to female physician as a major barrier. To close this barrier, our female physician have played tremendous role in fulfilling the needs to this rural villages via our free mobile clinic. Through providing prevention, medical screening, education, counseling, free medicine we strive improve women’s health ! Thank you for the support on this

Typical Mobile clinic day from a time before masks. we provide much needed free healthcare services + medicines in over 15 villages in for over 6 years. Our focus has been treating & preventing chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, etc. Most of the villagers are poor laborers or farmers living in areas more than 2 hours away from a doctor or pharmacy. We are their only option, which otherwise they would go without. We have been able to operate throughout with strict precautions. our usual busy clinic day can see 50-80 patients on .

Within 12 days of launch campaign we had delivered first air cargo shipment on ground to the hospital 🏥 in India. Following that, a total of 4 emergency air cargo ✈️ were sent within weeks. We were able to achieve this with our extensive network of the on ground volunteers, aircargo companies in , custom staff support at the airports & our trucking partners in India

Last week we delivered 23,500 PPE KN95 😷. We have highlighted in this post the emergent four airlift were able to deliver 10,000 lbs of medical equipment to 9 hospitals. We will be posting our campaign biannual report soon. A big thanks to donors & partners!
