As we enter the blessed month of Muharram, it marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar, a time of reflection, renewal, and spiritual grounding.

It is one of the four sacred months mentioned in the Qur'an, a period in which good deeds are multiplied, hearts are softened, and believers are invited to draw closer to their Creator.

The early generations of Muslims would increase their charity in Muharram, understanding that giving purifies the soul, uplifts the community, and brings barakah into one's life.

This month also commemorates the story of Prophet Musa (AS), who endured hardships that seemed impossible to overcome. But with every challenge, hope emerged stronger with the mercy of Allah (SWT). Muharram teaches us the beauty and virtue of giving to those facing difficulties.
