Some Sundays, we come to God rested and grateful. Other Sundays, we come tired, distracted, or carrying worries we haven’t found the words to pray about.
He welcomes us in every condition.
You do not have to have everything figured out before you spend time with Him. You can bring the unfinished tasks, the concern for someone you love, and the questions that keep circling your mind. His mercy meets you right where you are.
As a new week begins, remember that God has not asked you to live all seven days at once. Today, take the next faithful step. Love the person in front of you. Ask for help where you need it. Leave room to rest.
The God who has carried you this far will be faithful in the days ahead.
Today’s takeaway:
Choose one worry you have been carrying and bring it to God in prayer. When it returns to mind, let it become an invitation to pray again.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for fresh mercy this morning. Quiet our minds and help us trust You with what we cannot control. Give us strength for today, wisdom for our next step, and peace as we enter a new week. In Jesus’ name, amen.
