Woodbridge Green Team Promoting a green and sustainable lifestyle for teens at school and in the community

Founded in 2011, the purpose of Green Team is to bring recycling awareness to WHS, through providing the school with a number of bottle/can recycling bins (currently 10). Just over the past year, Green Team has:

- Partnered with the City of Irvine to supply recycling bins for Kaiser Permanente's annual Southern California Half Marathon
- Worked closely with the school district and recycling compa

nies to implement the school's first continual bottle/can recycling program
- Collaborated with cabinet and club members in weekly discussions to promote recycling awareness in both the school and the community
- Increased WHS's bottle/can recycling count by 1000% (10x)

We hope to accomplish even more in the year to come!
