Birth Without Borders

Birth Without Borders Our mission is to bring culturally feasible medical technology and support to underprivileged communities. Our Founding Principles:

1.

We believe that birth is normal and a sacred transformational event.

2. We believe and scientific evidence supports that birth is inherently safe, but we recognize that medical technology is sometimes necessary and can save mothers and babies lives.

3. Though we brings supplies and relief to international areas, we recognize the state of birth in the United States is also in crisis and we spend

all of our efforts during the time we are home in working on improving maternity care here.

4. We believe one of the most important things that will drastically improve maternal and infant mortality rates world-wide is educating women on nutrition and assisting them to obtain the benefits.

5. We believe that breastfeeding is optimal nourishment for newborns, infants, and children, and promoting the World Health Organization's recommendation of breastfeeding for a minimum of two years should be a community standard.

6. We believe that the Midwifery model of care is appropriate and superior for the majority of women.

7. We believe in discouraging circumcision for non-religious reasons.

8. We believe that babies are aware, alert and sensitive throughout conception, gestation, birth and the newborn period. Their interconnectiveness with their mother should be honored and unless medically necessary they should be never separated. If this is honored, we believe that the baby will have an innate primal blue print to love and nurture throughout all of their life.

We are so excited to have Breanne of Mindfully Evolve come and share tools for mindful parenting. Are you feeling overstressed and overwhelmed as you parent? Are you wanting meaningful relationships in your home? Do you want the tools that are going to bring kindness, compassion, focus and emotional resilience to your children? In this workshop, we will learn mindfulness tools and games to bring into our homes. We will learn how mindfulness can impact our mind and body and how it’s the greatest life skill we can give to ourselves and our family. Looking forward to learning and growing together!
