đź“– At FWE Writing Program,

every student receives an individualized Writing Progress Report at the end of each semester.

We do more than evaluate a finished piece of writing.

We identify each student’s strengths, recognize areas of growth, and provide guidance for the next stage of development.

Because true education is not only about teaching skills.

It is about observing growth, documenting progress, and helping students move forward with purpose.

Assessment is not an extra step beyond instruction.
It is an essential part of the learning process—helping students understand themselves, build confidence, and continue growing.

When students can see their progress and families can better understand their development, learning becomes a meaningful journey with direction and purpose.

Today, we are excited to share that
FWE has completed a comprehensive upgrade of our 2026–2027 academic programs.

it represents a shift toward more structured and continuous
Academic Pathways designed to support long-term student growth.

Across all stages, we have refined the curriculum structure, pacing, and learning depth,
along with adjustments to class duration to better support sustained development.

Under this new system, program structure and scheduling have been thoughtfully aligned
to provide a more consistent and effective learning experience.

The tuition structure for the 2026–2027 academic year has also been updated accordingly.

Ferris Wheel Education provides a comprehensive K–8 academic pathway, centered on the student and focused on long-term, in-depth academic growth.

We have developed a leading, well-structured after-school academic program spanning Mathematics, Writing, English Language Arts, Spanish, and Chinese. Our curriculum is thoughtfully aligned with the expectations of top private schools, supporting students in developing clarity of understanding, strength in expression, and depth in thinking.

At FWE, mathematics builds logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability; writing develops clear, structured expression and analytical thinking; English Language Arts helps students understand the world through reading and discussion while forming their own voice and judgment; language programs expand global awareness and cross-cultural communication skills.

Our faculty consists of experienced educators and subject experts who emphasize guidance, mentorship, and long-term development. Through small-group instruction and continuous feedback, we support each student’s steady growth.

In addition to group classes, we offer high-quality K–12 one-on-one instruction and private school admissions support, with both in-person and online options to provide flexible and comprehensive learning solutions for families.

Here, students not only strengthen their academic abilities, but also develop strong learning habits, disciplined thinking, and the inner stability needed to approach complex challenges with confidence—growing into learners with clarity, expression, and long-term potential.

After watching Hoppers, my kids and I kept talking about it.

With Earth Day coming up at school—
Cynthia has been researching for over a month and will present next week,
and Chloe will have her outdoor school trip—
the film felt especially real to them.

It quietly brings up a simple but powerful question:
Whose home is the Earth?

Different lives share the same planet—
mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, insects—
each with their own language, their own world.

Maybe understanding begins with learning to listen.

One thing the kids noticed:
like in writing class—every story has a challenge,
and what matters is choosing to act and not giving up.

There were also moments that stayed with us—
things we barely notice can deeply affect other lives.
And even when humans disrupt nature,
kindness can still come from unexpected places.

Cynthia said her favorite moment was when animals chose to help humans protect their home.
“She said, animals are really kind.”

Sometimes kids see the truth more clearly than we do.

The Earth was never just ours.
It’s a home we share—and need to protect together. 🌎

Understanding the World · Expressing Yourself

A child with strong ELA skills is not simply someone who can read and write well.
More importantly, it is a child who can understand.

Through stories, they learn to understand characters and conflicts.
Through this process, they also begin to better understand people, relationships, and emotions in the real world.

Through reading, they encounter complex ideas.
Through reflection, they gradually form their own judgments.

At the same time, they learn to express their thoughts clearly
and communicate their ideas with confidence and strength.

In this sense, ELA is not just a subject—it is a capability that naturally extends into every area of a child’s growth.

Students with strong reading comprehension often find it easier to grasp the essence of problems in math word problems, scientific texts, and historical materials.

Students with a clear sense of language structure are also better able to communicate logical thinking and organized ideas in classroom discussions, project presentations, and academic writing.

For this reason, truly meaningful ELA education is not about practicing reading, vocabulary, grammar, and writing as isolated skills.

Instead, it should form a continuous pathway of development:

From reading
to understanding
to thinking
and finally to expression.

This is the kind of ability we hope students truly gain through ELA.

AI can help children calculate faster.
But it cannot think for them.

In the future, what truly sets students apart
is not speed,
but structure and judgment.

World language is global competence.

In the United States, Spanish is not merely a “foreign language.”
It is both a deeply rooted language of this land
and one of the six official languages of the United Nations.

In both public and private schools,
Spanish ultimately becomes part of the core academic sequence.
The difference is not whether — but when.

In California public schools, it typically formalizes around 7th grade.
In many private schools, it begins earlier —
often during the elementary years.

Many families only recognize its academic weight
once high school language requirements begin.
By then, foundational gaps are far more difficult to close.

Language is never decoration.
It is part of the future.
