💦December 2025💦
Delighted to share the completion of all 6 water well projects! 💦These wells were completed after our annual fundraiser luncheon. We are deeply grateful to everyone whose generosity continues to bring clean, life-changing water to families in need.

Each water well is a reflection of compassion and generosity. May every drop of water bring blessings and may the heartfelt prayers of the villagers always carry gratitude for these donors.
For donors who donated to our cause, your generosity continues to make an impactful difference. Your donation supports the revitalization of our older wells that require essential maintenance. While we continue to take on new projects, our main focus at the moment is restoration. We currently have close to eighty older wells, and we are returning to those villages to restore and upgrade them and not only build new ones.

To learn how you can dedicate a water well or contribute toward the restoration of our existing projects, please visit givetheneedy.org or reach out to us. 🙏

💧August thru October 2025
At Give the Needy Foundation, Ongoing Water Well Maintenance Program! 💧Our mission doesn’t end with building new wells—we also return to past sites to keep them strong. Through our Water Well Maintenance Program, we ensure clean water continues to flow and even support vegetation growth in the communities we serve.

Recently, we revisited 5 wells—over a year old and still thriving despite the desert’s harsh conditions. These villages endure flat, sandy terrain with dunes, thorny shrubs, extreme heat above 45°C (113°F), and frequent sandstorms that wear down even the toughest paint, pipes, and pumps.

These five water well projects were maintained recently for our generous donors, from projects originally completed in August and October 2024.

If you have donated a dedicated water well, we encourage you to contact us to arrange ongoing maintenance for a small annual fee. This helps ensure your well continues to serve its community and that your meaningful dedication in honor of a loved one remains a source of blessings for years to come.

Donors will receive annual updates on the water well project, including media coverage.

Ongoing Water Well Maintenance Program! 💧 At Give the Needy Foundation, our commitment to clean water and transformed lives never stops. While new water well projects are underway, we are also revisiting past sites as part of our Water Well Maintenance Program - ensuring continued impact in the communities we serve.

Here are three recently revisited wells, both completed over two years ago in August 2023 for the following generous donors:

You can see the before and after pictures. In just two years, the projects have visibly deteriorated under such extreme conditions - showing why maintaining these water wells is so important.

These villages sit in flat, sandy terrain dotted with dunes and thorny shrubs. Temperatures often soar above 45°C (113°F), and frequent sandstorms quickly erode even the toughest materials—paint, pipes, and pumps included.

If you have donated a dedicated water well, we encourage you to contact us to arrange ongoing maintenance for a small annual fee of $180. This helps ensure your well continues to serve its community and that your meaningful dedication in honor of a loved one remains a source of blessings for years to come.

Donors will receive annual updates on the water well project, including media coverage.

Thanks to ongoing maintenance, the water remains clean and consistent. The wells now look refreshed and renewed—standing not just as sources of life, but as beautiful, hopeful places that bring dignity to the villagers each day.

💦 July 2025
Delighted to share updates on the completion of 96 water well projects. 💦 We are recently completed water well projects dedicated in honor of our donors:

These water wells are doing more than just providing clean drinking water — they are bringing life back to the land. With access to water, vegetation is returning, and families now have food they can grow and cook. It’s not just water — it’s nourishment, sustainability, and hope.

These well projects stand as a testament to kindness and generosity. May the water drawn bring blessings, and may the villagers’ prayers forever reflect their gratitude and appreciation for the donors.

💧July 2025
On Going Water Well Maintenance Program!💦 Give the Needy Foundation continuing our mission of providing clean water and transforming lives. While we have some new projects work in progress, we are also actively working on our Water Well Maintenance Program, revisiting projects we completed over the years to ensure they remain in excellent condition. This our 5th maintenance project.

Two of which we are sharing, were recently maintained, completed over three years ago, and still providing flowing water after the tough terrain harsh climate. The terrain is mostly flat and sandy, with scattered dunes and thorny bushes. Temperatures often rise above 45°C (113°F), and sandstorms frequently sweep across the land. The dry, abrasive conditions wear down surfaces quickly — even the best of paints on water wells doesn’t last long. The issues were mostly cosmetic: a fresh coat of paint, some minor structural touch-ups, and a few solar panel or tap replacements. The water remained clean and steady, and now the wells look as good as new, offering the villages not just water, but something beautiful to come to each day.

💧Water Well Maintenance Program!💦

Building a well is just the beginning, maintaining it keeps the water flowing.💦💧

Give the Needy Foundation has proudly completed 85 water well projects - each one active, producing clean water, and transforming lives. To ensure these wells continue serving communities for years to come, we are excited to launch our Water Well Maintenance Program. While our team conducts periodic visits for inspections, consistent and sustainable funding is vital for long-term upkeep.

We would like to share a recent update from one of our wells, Water Well Project #17 - Village Umer Bajeer, District of Sanghar originally built in June 2022. We are pleased to report it still provides clean, running water. However, maintenance was needed: faded paint, structural wear due to the rugged terrain, and a few solar panel components required replacement. These issues have now been addressed, and the well has been restored to like-new condition.

If you have donated a dedicated water well, we encourage you to get in touch with us to arrange ongoing maintenance for a small fee once a year. This helps ensure your well continues to serve its community and that your meaningful dedication in honor of a loved one remains a source of blessings for years to come.

Food ration for Eid - overseas - April 2025. Sharing moments of kindness with people in need. We had the privilege of distributing extended Eid rations yesterday, through the Give the Needy Foundation, to families in Lines area, Karachi.

These hardworking families face daily hardships but never ask for help. They are resilient individuals doing small jobs to get by, and their quiet dignity speaks volumes. The most deserving families were selected and given a specific time to collect their rations. They came humbly, lining up with gratitude. Thanks to our generous donors, this support was made possible.

We strive to provide rations not only during Ramadan, but throughout the year, as rising inflation continues to make life difficult for many. We don’t necessarily share pictures online every time we do distributions, to respect their privacy. If you would like to contribute or get involved, please reach out - we would love to have you be part of this effort to uplift lives.

Please contact us or donate to Givetheneedy.org. It is tax deductible. Together we can help families in need.
