Adult Day Services is a perfect complement to the broader system of healthcare and is a cost-effective way to provide community based long-term care support and services for seniors and disabled adults. For more than twenty years, Irvine Adult Day Health Services has been a leader in the industry and the only licensed adult day services provider in Irvine that offers specialized daytime services o

ur participants and their families need. Our program allows families to coordinate all of their care needs effectively and completely at one care Center. Our staff makes it easy by providing support and resources to families to help meet their care needs, while coordinating directly with physicians to support the participant's current medical regime. Participants and caregivers can feel confident that they are maintaining or improving their quality of life with the Center's individualized programs, professional staffing, and support. Our multidisciplinary team develops a person centered plan of care to help enhance the emotional, social, and physical life of each individual. Since our opening, we have provided over 200,000 days of care to more than 1,000 participants. The number of lives we have touched exponentially increases with the support and resources provided to caregivers. We continue to be responsive to the changing needs of the community and are always looking for new and innovative ways to provide person centered care options to our participants. We are proud of our many successes over the years and thrilled to have impacted so many families in the community. IADHS is housed in a 5,600 square foot wing of the Lakeview Senior Center. Establishing a joint use facility for the adult day service program and the active senior center was a visionary concept. This is the only shared use facility in Orange County that offers a continuum of care service option that meet seniors' social, medical, and psychological needs. Our program offers:

* Rehabilitation Services- including Physical Therapy, Occupational and Speech Therapies

* Nursing Supervision and Health Maintenance- Blood Pressure, Diabetic and Medication Management.

* Recreational Activities and Special Programs- "Dakim BrainFitness" computers, "Memories in the Making", iPad activities, Multi-Cultural Groups

* Social Services- Case Management, Caregiver Support Groups, and Resource/ Referral Information

* Nutritional Supervision- including two meals and a snack provided each day of attendance, Registered Dietician, and modified meal plan options

* Door to Door Accessible Transportation
