Grant Team Wishes been collecting Playdoh donations in our office, from our team, for the last few months.. Yesterday, we had the privilege of bringing those donations to CHOC (Children’s Hospital Orange County) and we were given a wonderful tour of the entire facility. We were completely blown away with all that CHOC does to make this place feel like a home away from home for the too-many children that, sadly, have to stay here. Countless playrooms for “distraction therapy”, a theatre room, the Ryan Seacrest pretend radio/TV studio, cooking classes, prayer/meditation room, a classroom to continue education and all sorts of Disney Magic throughout. CHOC was actually started by Walt Disney himself, over 50 years ago!

We are so thankful for CHOC, that they are able to give such incredible care to thousands of families every year. And also so thankful for the numerous families in Orange County that donate millions of dollars to keep this organization going. One family in particular has donated over 20 million dollars which has funded their recent expansion project!
Thank you, CHOC! It was a truly heartwarming experience.

This week, we volunteered with Triple Threat Mentoring.
Triple Threat is all about fighting poverty with passion, using Arts, Academics, and Athletics! We went out to a community center in Santa Ana where children have a safe place to spend time after school. We set up different stations for the kids to get creative at, making apple cookie snacks, making and playing with (super messy!) edible slime, painting masterpieces, playing Wii, and more! It was a heartwarming time with the children and we were blessed to be their mentors for a day!

Grant Team Wishes, along with members of the Ryan Grant Team, had the privledge of volunteering at the Orangewood Foundation in Santa Ana this afternoon. What an incredible organization, helping foster and homeless youth of Orange County by giving them all the physical, mental, and emotional support needed to make it on their own. Orangewood does it all: providing free meals and groceries to paying for college education, assisting with housing, providing hot showers and new, clean clothes and toiletries. Such an eye opening experience.

South County Outreach needs our help! A flood in their building last week has caused tremendous water damage, limiting their food pantry operation that feeds thousands monthly!
Grant Team Wishes has made a donation to help get them back up on dry feet. We encourage you to join us in helping this wonderful non-profit organization, that provides services for local people in crisis including a food pantry, housing programs, rental and utility assistance, workforce training and clothing.

South County Outreach serves the residents of Orange County by providing services to vulnerable households in crisis. Our services include emergency food, housing, rental and utility assistance, workforce training, and clothing vouchers.

We are beyond thankful and grateful for our local fire fighters, putting their lives on the line for our safety. We're honored to be able to give back and by making a donation to the Trabuco Canyon Fire Department, where they can disburse the supplies to all the fire fighters working hard to get this under control. THANK YOU!!

Each month, Grant Team Wishes donates to a charity in the name of a randomly selected client who closed escrow within the month. CONGRATULATIONS to this month's drawing winners, Steve & Charisse Wolf! The Wolf's have selected the Orangewood Foundation, serving current and former foster youth. We are honored to be able to donate to such an amazing organization on your behalf. Thank YOU!!

We had the honor of volunteering for a GREAT organization this morning, Someone Cares Soup Kitchen in Costa Mesa. Someone Cares feeds over 300 people everyday, for over 20 years! What a humbling experience to serve our community!
