This one-of-a-kind opportunity is designed exclusively for rising 7th and 8th graders. Limited to just ten campers, Young Leaders offers a personal, flexible, and meaningful camp experience tailored to each camper’s interests and strengths. Campers choose where they want to plug in — whether that’s joining an arts and crafts session, playing soccer with a younger group, or helping lead a cookie decorating activity. This freedom of choice helps leadership develop naturally through real experiences and fun.
Young Leaders also enjoy all of Camp Izza’s signature activities — the trampoline, water slide, game room, and sports — alongside their peers throughout the day.
The program is designed to build real-world, transferable skills like confidence, responsibility, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork — skills that support success not only at camp, but in high school and beyond. Many Young Leaders go on to apply for Counselor in Training roles in future years, making this a meaningful first step in their leadership journey.
