Iranian Student Union (ISU) at UC Irvine

Iranian Student Union (ISU) at UC Irvine Established in 2006, a UC Irvine student organization dedicated to the Persian community, philanthropy, and encouraging socialization.

ISU hopes to unify Iranian students of UC Irvine in order to form an educational and social environment where Iranians can embrace their country's culture and history. With UCI located in one of the most heavily populated Persian communities outside of Iran, we hope to spread awareness of our heritage on our own campus through philanthropic and cultural events. Our group will to bring together Ira

nians to celebrate and embrace our lavish heritage while promoting a strong sense of identity and community. We plan on hosting many culture nights throughout the year, charity events and fundraisers, a culture show, and donate the majority of our profits to children in Iran.

Ticket sales for ISU’s 2023 annual Big Bear Trip are now open!! The trip will be taking place January 6-8 (weekend before winter classes start). Tickets are $135 for members and $150 for non-members.
