Whether you hate it, admire it, practice it or avoid it, office politics is a fact of life in any organization. And, like it or not, it's something that you need to understand and master to be sure of your own success. “Office politics" are the strategies that people play to gain advantage, personally or for a cause they support. Though the term often has a negative connotation, there are “good office politics.” This form of politics can help you fairly promote yourself and your cause, and is more often called networking and stakeholder management. Learn practical tools to use “office politics” for the good of your career and organization.
Presenter Gena Yuvette Davis, a USC alumna and board certified executive coach and corporate trainer, has a strong marketing background that is rooted in experience gained through some of the giants of the entertainment industry, including Fox Entertainment Group, The Walt Disney Company, and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
