Corazon de Vida Foundation We are a for-purpose organization giving life-saving support to orphanages in Mexico & building futures for abandoned children through long-term education.

CDV provides life-changing support for orphaned and abandoned children in Baja, Mexico by funding local orphanages, providing quality of life improvement services and investing in the children’s future by funding higher education. Through our life-sustaining program we provide monthly funding for the orphanages under our care. These orphanages give abandoned children security, nutrition, shelter and access to a reliable education. We also fund scholarships for teens aging out of the orphanage system to continue their education.

When a child enters a Casa Hogar, there is much more happening than simply moving into a new place to live. They are entering a new environment with new people, routines, and experiences to become familiar with.

At first, even the simplest parts of the day can be unfamiliar. Over time, everyday routines begin to take shape: knowing who will be there, having a place to sleep, sharing meals, going to school, and feeling supported.

We are deeply grateful for everyone who makes this possible. Your continued support helps provide the essentials that keep the homes running and allows children to experience the care, stability, and support they need every day. It is through your generosity and commitment that these homes can continue being a place children can call home. ❤️

At the end of July, two audiologists and two volunteers visited six homes in just three days to check in on the children’s ear health. They provided basic consultations, ear drops when needed, and guidance to the homes on possible follow-up care.

We’re especially grateful to Sam and his mom, who started this effort and have continued dedicating a full weekend each year to providing these visits to the homes.

Your network can help grow ours. ❤️💚

That’s the idea behind Peer-to-Peer (P2P) fundraising: using your own network to help a cause reach people beyond its existing community.

You can start a birthday fundraiser, create a personal campaign, or simply share an existing fundraiser with your friends, family, and coworkers.

And while fundraising is part of it, P2P is also about something just as important: awareness.

When you share our mission, you’re introducing Corazón de Vida to people who may have never heard about the homes and children we support. One person shares with their network, someone new discovers the mission, and the message continues to travel.

You don’t always have to give to make an impact. Sometimes, sharing is how you help someone else find their way to the mission.
