Each One Teach One

Each One Teach One The vision of EOTO is to deliver access to the basic necessities and a future of opportunities to ones that need it.

The primary objective of EOTO is to provide basic necessities (health, medical, housing, education, nourishment and supplemental income) for children which will be made possible through donations from individuals, estates, foundations and corporations. While the cost of these basic necessities may be reasonable to our standards it is difficult for children in developing or poverty stricken countri

es to attend school, pay for basic medical check ups, or even having a balanced meal once a day, because they may be lacking the funding that is required to obtain these services. Through the generosity of EOTO donors and volunteers, EOTO is able to provide the funding for the basic necessities for children who would not have otherwise had the opportunity. Our sponsorship programs not only covers the essential costs for these necessities, but also ensures that each child has a strong support network to allow them to fulfill there dreams and enjoy a fulfilling overall experience, that helps them to get out of poverty. Poverty stricken children around the world face a range of unique challenges and barriers, and as such, we do not believe in a one size fits all approach. The EOTO team conducts extensive interviews with each child to customize our sponsorship package to ensure that they have every opportunity for success. A sponsorship entails not only a commitment to our children, but a commitment to our donors that we will do everything in our power to ensure that our children are facilitated with an enriching experience. It is a commitment that we take very seriously.

Dear Friends, Family, and Colleagues,

It is that time of the year again and EOTO is looking for volunteers and donations. On August 11, 2018, Eoto (Each One Teach One) will be hosting Feed LA our annual charity event. This is our 9th year doing this event. Our purpose is to make a small dent in combating hunger and helping the less fortunate. Feed LA will not only assist the less fortunate and help strengthen ties in our community but also help us as volunteers understand that we have a social responsibility to help people in need. We must always be thankful and appreciative for what we have. Therefore, the biggest and sole reward for this event is the realization that we have made a significant change in someone's life, and if not significant than a positive change at the very least.

Please visit our video link that captures our event last year. It allows you to see what we have been doing for the last nine years and how you can help by volunteering. https://vimeo.com/237160611

We encourage you to sign up as a volunteer to help pass out 60,000 to 90,000 pounds of food to families, prepare and serve over 3000 meals, passing out 1100 freshly made shaved ice for all children that are receiving backpacks, and assist in handing out over 1250 backpacks filled with school supplies to children that need the basic items to continue their educational journey. In addition, New Clothes 4 God's Kids will be handing out over 5,000 pieces of brand name clothing to children and adults.

If you cannot volunteer please go to our site www.eoto.org and make a contribution or you can paypal it to [email protected]. Every dollar that you donate will be used for the charity event. At Eoto we believe that every dollar raised should be used to help the less fortunate and no volunteers should be paid for their services. As a 501(c)(3) every donation you make is a tax deduction per section 170 of the IRS.

Please help us make a difference and join us at our charity event Feed LA. Furthermore, please email me if you would like to volunteer or donate. I look forward to hearing from you.
