According to Scripture this is what was happening to Jesus on “Good Friday” Mark 15:33-34

33 And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.

34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

The phrase "it was about the sixth hour" primarily refers to noon in the New Testament, notably marking the start of a three-hour darkness during Jesus' crucifixion

The Gospel of Mark indicates Jesus was crucified at the third hour (9 a.m.), and darkness began at the sixth hour (noon).
