What a week at Pebble Beach. The TGR JR Invitational presented by TaylorMade Golf brought together 60 of the country’s top junior golfers for a week filled with competition, connection and unforgettable experiences.

We were proud to have four TGR Learning Lab Anaheim golfers representing TGR Foundation on the course and throughout the week.

From time on the course to conversations with leaders in the game, it was a week about more than golf. It was about creating opportunities, building connections and inspiring what comes next.

Before he was directing his own films, Brandon Layman was a TGR Learning Lab Anaheim member taking his first graphic design class with Mr. Luong.

That class introduced Brandon to video production and opened the door to a creative path he hadn’t yet imagined. From there, he went on to attend the Orange County School of the Arts and eventually founded his own production company. His debut feature film, Sanctuary, was made on a budget of just $3,000.

As part of 30 Years of Driving Dreams Together, presented by EY US, Brandon shares how he got his start, the people who shaped his journey and what he would tell his younger self.

September brought a new season of learning and new opportunities across TGR Foundation.

Our Earl Woods Scholars kicked off a new school year, fall programs got underway at the TGR Learning Labs in Anaheim and Philadelphia and we celebrated another meaningful NEXUS Cup alongside our partners and community.

From classrooms and Learning Labs to college campuses and community events, September was filled with moments that brought our mission to life: creating opportunities for young people to learn, grow and discover what’s possible.
