Walter “Toot” McKinney Waller 50 of Irvine passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 1, 1975, in Lexington to Walter and Charolett Waller. He was an employee of Tates Creek Paving. He is survived by his mother Charolett McKinney Webb, his Partner Sherry Robertson, two sons Douglas McKinney, Blake Mckinney a daughter Laura Reed and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Stepfather Alford Webb and a son Dustin Young. Family has chosen cremation and will have a celebration of life at a later date. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge.

Charles D. Cox, 89 of Irvine, KY., went to be with our heavenly Father on January 8, 2025.
Charles was born on August 19, 1935, in Irvine, KY., Charles is the son of the late Robert and Eva M. Cox.
Charles is retired from the State Hwy Garage. He loves his westerns and the Three Stooges; he also loved his peanut butter milk shakes from Sonic.
Charles is preceded in death by three brothers; Glyndon Cox, Earl Cox, and Louis Cox, one sister; Anna Lee Rogers.
Charles is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eva McKinney Cox; two daughters; Ova Jean Harris (Tony), and Tassie Willis (Leon), two sons; Michael Cox (Cathy) and Eric Cox (Aimee); six grandchildren; Jeremy and Ashley Abney, Amber Harris, Destinee Willis, Zack Reeves, and Tiffany Cox; three great-grandchildren; Lainey Pearson Garrett, Raylee Farthing, and Jasper Hardy.
Funeral services for Charles D. Cox will be conducted on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 1:00 P.M in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brother Donnie Watson will be officiating. Interment will follow in the South Irvine Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Michael and Eric Cox, Tony Harris, Ashley Abney, Leon Reeves and Matt Pearson Garrett.
Lewis Home for Funerals is honored to serve the family of Charles D. Cox.

Wanda Denise Watson

Wanda Denise Watson 51 of Irvine passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Irvine September 22, 1971 to Bradly and Joyce Gilbert. She is survived by her partner Earl Peters of Irvine, two sons Steven Ferguson of Irvine, Michael Ferguson and wife Rachel of Irvine, a daughter Joyce Ballinger and husband Brad of Paris, four grandchildren, two brothers Ronald McKinney of Irvine, Joey McKinney of Irvine, and two sisters Gracie Henry of Irvine and Tamara Isaac of Irvine. She was preceded in death by her parents Bradly and Joyce Gilbert and a brother Steven McKinney. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Irvine. Friends may visit Sunday from 12 PM till 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Peters Cemetery on Barnes Mountain. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.

This is my brother, Randy McKinney, was was adopted (along with his brother, Eugene) by Mom and Dad when they were little. They eventually went back to live with their biological partents, but Randy and I still stay in contact on messenger. Eugene recently passed away Love you, Randy!

Obituary for Elaine Willis
Elaine Willis, age 63, of Luxon Drive in Richmond, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020, at the Compassionate Care Center following a long illness. She was born February 11, 1957 in Madison County and was the daughter of the late James Edward and Mafrey McKinney Lamb. She was an employee of the Richmond Eye Care Center and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She had lived in Madison County most of her life. She is survived by:
1 son: Donald Eric (Cherish) Willis - Madison Co.
1 sister: Lorraine Whittamore - Madison Co.
4 grandchildren: Ella Grace Willis, Elizabeth Jaden Willis, Jaden Willis and Paxton Eric Willis
She was preceded in death by her son, Donovan Douglas Willis and grandson, Zackary Scott Moberly.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. The Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.(Elain is on the left).

Herman McKinney (1940 - 2019) | Visit Guest Book

MORNING SUN — Herman McKinney, 79, of Morning Sun, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Woodland Country Manor in Somerville.
He was born April 12, 1940, in Irvine, Kentucky to the late Johnnie and Paulina (Fox) McKinney. Herman loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He married the love of his life, Jeanetta Faye (Newman) McKinney, on Aug. 19, 1961, in Irvine, Kentucky; Jeanetta passed away on July 4, 2018.
In addition to his parents and late wife, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Cecil, Dayton, June David and Benjamin; and sisters Cleova Issacs, Retha Estes and Oma McKinney.
He is survived by his son Rick (Debbie) McKinney of Eaton; son Randy (Shari) McKinney of Eaton; daughter Dana (Rob) Reece of Tampa, Florida; son Terry (Darlene) McKinney of New Paris; 10 grandchildren: Damon (Sammantha) Reece, Bryant McKinney, Rick McKinney, Derek McKinney, Cory (Ashlie) McKinney, Michelle McKinney and Emma McKinney; great-granddaughter Loxley McKinney; brother Glendon McKinney; sister Eva Cox; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 31, at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery in Morning Sun. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, from 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Friday all at the funeral home.
