It takes a village. It takes SISU. ❄️

They say it takes a village to pull off an event like this, but at the SISU Ski Fest, it takes a crew of nearly 200 incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to the community.

To the teams who were out in the cold long before the sun rose and stayed long after the final racer crossed the line—THANK YOU.

We couldn’t have done it without:

The Depot Dash Crew: For facilitating fun for the next generation of racers.

The Trail & Grooming Crews: For clearing trail in the fall, after the big storm, and of course for those pristine decks and tracks.

Registration & Marketing: For getting everyone lined up and hyped.

The Safety Teams: Our Road Crossing Crews, Ski Patrol, and First Aid heroes keeping us secure.

The Logistics Stars: Handling Bag Drop and keeping spirits high and fueled at the Aid Stations.

The Finish Line Helpers: To the person who helped you unclip your skis and handed you hydration.

The Recovery Team: To the people who handed you a steaming hot pasty and cookies when you needed it most!

Every smile, every cup of water, and every km of marked trail is a testament to this community’s dedication. You are the engine that makes SISU run.

The groomers are hard at work this morning and were also out last night. A huge thank you goes out to the Anderson Bluffs & River Trails Foundation Inc., Miners Memorial Heritage Park, Friends of the Iron Belle Trail, penokeerangers, and the Ski Management Program!

A huge shout out to Greg Greene, ABR Ambassador, SISU Chief of Course and Chief of Stadium! He’s put in countless hours over the last few months to be sure the SISU race is a wonderful experience for everyone!! If you see him running around this weekend, say thank you! 🙏
