SO MANY WONDERFUL CATS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! 😻❤️ Here are 15 of our sweet feline friends that are patiently waiting to find their homes!

We have gotten in a lot of cats recently, so there are a few that are not on the website yet. We are letting them decompress and will post them when they are a little more comfortable with us! You can always stop in during open hours to visit the cats and meet your potential new furry friend! ❤️

UPDATE - HOME SAFE AND SOUND!! ❤️❤️❤️

*LOST CAT*

Felix ran off from his home in Bessemer on East Longyear St and Beecher St, after being spooked by the wind. He is not wearing a collar and is microchipped. He is incredibly friendly, but is likely scared and may be seeking shelter nearby. Pease keep an eye out in garages, sheds, or under porches. If you spot him or have any details, please call the shelter at (906) 932-1511 or the owners at (906) 364-1914.

Thank you!

Twister here, checking in to see if anybody is looking for a calm, very dashing, adult cat because if you are, I'm your guy! 😻❤️

We estimate Twister to be around 5-6 years old. When he first came in he was very shy but he has really come out of his shell and now he likes to wander the cat room and get pets from his people! He's truly a wonderful guy and we've all fallen in love with him here so we're really hoping an adopter comes soon! 🤞

Every Fall we seem to load up on cats (and dogs) and right now we have SO many amazing animals that are looking for their forever homes. 💞🏠

***LOOKING FOR OWNER***

This handsome young German Shepherd, probably less than a year old, was brought in by the Sheriff's Department on Oct. 1st following an incident that turned out to just be a scratch because he likes to jump up on people. (He's actually VERY sweet and smart but high energy). He was picked up on Sophie St. in Bessemer. We are now working with them to locate the owner so that they can reclaim him but with no luck.. Tomorrow is the end of his 5 day stray hold and then he will officially be put up for adoption if no one steps forward.
If you are the owners or have any information on this pup, please call the shelter at 906-932-1511

He is not microchipped and sadly we don't know his name..
