On this “GIVING TUESDAY” — Our “GOOD NEWS” is the generous responses arriving daily from our alumni AND supporters. Almost 6,000 people have received our ANNUAL NEWSLETTER highlighting how we have been putting to INCREDIBLE use the DONATIONS we received this past year! PLEASE be a part of this ongoing support for our Ironwood students - YOU can MAKE a DIFFERENCE !!!

Our LAST “Work Bee” was held yesterday to finish up sending our annual appeal to our Alumni.
If you graduated from a class between 1985 -2000 they were mailed TODAY!
Approximately 1,700 pieces!!!
If not received please message us or if received with a YELLOW forwarded USPS sticker let us know your “current address”!!
We will be looking at a mailing in EARLY 2026 to the classes of 2001 and subsequent years as our database continues to grow!
We sure could use VOLUNTEER help!!

Congratulations to anyone who VOLUNTEERS 😘

Ironwood Chamber of Commerce Volunteer Fair for 2025 saw a good turn out tonight of both organizations and visitor/prospective volunteers. Held this year at the Aurora Club on November 6, the Chamber is very thankful of both the organizations to came (and make this community great!) and the interested folks who want to join up with them!

My husband checking in with Tech Teacher Allison Stehlik today observed the CLIMBING WALL being used by TWO Elementary classes!!
Phy Ed teachers - Ceci Aho & Ethan Roehm encouraging - challenging them! Students enthusiastic- excited!! (No picture available of the kids) So WONDERFUL!!!

Volunteers!!! IT TAKES A VILLAGE !!The process of attaching labels-weeding out duplicates-sorting into “Trays”- folding more brochures ! WHEW - a LOT ACCOMPLISHED!
Hand addressing -125 not acceptable as they were - updated with current addresses…. THANKS LADIES (Board members and volunteers) & LARRY (Trustee) - lonely guy!!

“BEHIND THE SCENES #4” - Assembling - filling the envelopes - sealing them!! RDEF Board Members ~ Trustees Barb & Larry Tibaldo - VP Vicky Finco - NHS Advisor - Cheryl Jacisin & her amazing students! What a PRODUCTIVE 3 + hours - 2,750 envelopes stuffed and sealed- ready for labels next week! Another 1,500 folded manually - waiting - for the next WORK BEE😘👍🏻 🏫 I think I have a picture of every worker who helped out…37 DIFFERENT students—proud of these National Honor Society Students and those from an RTI Classroom time!
