Today’s FLY-IN prep went great !!!

We arrived early, got the hanger cleaned out, the airport staff blew off the lower parking lot for our guests, we hung our 6‘ x 10‘ American flag, we got our sail flags ready for display, the 309 tables are assembled and ready to be staged, the Civil Air Patrol showed up with their tables, the EZ-UPs are ready, the shuttle tractor has been delivered, planes have been moved, trash cans are ready, raffle prizes organized and the porta-potties are fresh !!!
I even did some grass prep for the hot air balloon AND the powered parachute guys!!!
In 12 hours, the final touches will be put together & organized. In just less than 14 hours, the volunteers start coming in….and then the event!!!

FABULOUS news!!!

🌮WE’RE ADDING A TACO TRUCK to our Saturday Fly-In, Drive-In, Ride-In !!!
“Latin Stop” will be setting up just before lunch time!!!🌮
🤪Man I love Hispanic food…the margaritas will have to wait until Saturday night 🍹 😩👎🏾

Ok 309r’s!
This is where I humbly ask for your help. PRETTY PLEASE !!!
We have 9 stations at the event, needing 13 volunteers at any given moment.
PLUS, we need random roamers to guide the public, answer questions, and greet everyone.
I’d like to have much more than that, so we can rotate in & out. That way folks can get a break during the day.
I will attach an event map, with the volunteer stations marked with BLUE X’s (you’ll have to zoom in) =

Parking Lot - x1
Hangar entrance (walk thru door) - x1

Aircraft marshallers - x3

If you can only help an hour, we’ll take it!
If you’d like to be rotated between stations at 1hr intervals, let’s do it!
