The Stop the Bleed emergency kits have been received by Crystal Falls City Police School Resource Officer Thomas Mantsch. Officer Mantsch will be working cooperatively with the Forest Park School District to strategically place the emergency kits throughout the school building and he will be training school staff personnel on the proper use of the kits in case of an emergency. The purchase of the Stop the Bleed emergency kits was made possible through a $1,500 Grant from the Iron Area Health Foundation.

The Iron Area Health Foundation wants to send a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make our Golf Scramble Fundraiser on Sunday a huge success. Thank you to the 26 teams who participated, the 19 hole sponsors, the many businesses and individuals who donated prizes for our raffle, the staff and crew at Young’s Recreational Complex and Golf Course for being a fantastic host for the event. Each and every one of you were very instrumental in the success of the event. We are already looking forward to next year’s event!!
