We are so impressed by our Teen Night presenters!! It was hard to choose a winner, but the best part of Awesome Ipswich is we decided to fund all 3 projects, giving away a total of $1750 last night.
Congrats to the big winners of the night, Evan Kelly and Jonah Allen, who will be using their funds to purchase record players, headsets, speakers, vinyls and storage for pop-up Listening Stations around town. They hope to engage the community in shared connections through music.
Riley Brennan, representing Ipswich Travel Softball, who will host free youth clinics to introduce the game, targeting grades K-3. The first clinic is scheduled for April 4th!
Liz Marsella and Colleen Macdonald, representing IHS Softball, asked for funding to help purchase and install an indoor hitting cage at the IHS lower gym. This would be available to softball and baseball, youth and high school programs, to extend the hitting season to year-round, without the added expense of out-of-town tunnel rentals.
We love hearing these awesome ideas and look forward to more. We only have 3 more Pitch Nights for the 2026 season.
