Tip off for the 3-on-3 tourney tomorrow morning is at 10 AM at the Julie Heinz Johnson court (west of the pool) and the public school basketball courts (inside and outside). Championship games will all be played at the JHJ court. Spectators encouraged!

In honor of Julie, we will be hosting a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at the new Julie Heinz Johnson courts in Ipswich, South Dakota. Contact us for more information on how you can sign up your team of youth or adult athletes.

In 2000, Julie was inducted into the Dakota State University Hall of Fame and was named Dakota State University Alumni Coach of the Year in 1996. She entered the Ripon College Hall of Fame in 2005 for her commitment to the education of students through the classroom and athletics competition.

Julie Heinz-Johnson, revered athletic director, legendary Red Hawks Women's Basketball Coach, and beloved ambassador for Ripon College, passed away Thursday, June 13, in Ripon at the age of 53.
