You know what is so very RIGHT with The Refuge Church in Iowa Park? The Word of God that is preached with anointing that breaks the yoke, worship that moves mountains in the Spirit, our church family, and the evidence of God's goodness all over our lives. Yesterday, we celebrated three of our graduates, with one not in attendance: Latham, Adrian, Zach, and Tyler. They were honored by their peers, by our Youth Pastors Scott Skinner and Lauren Skinner, along with the local body. Each received gifts, $$, and personalized Bibles. We are SO PROUD of these young people! Dr. Stewart encouraged them about the future plans God has for each of their lives, and not to grow weary when people or seasons change along the way. God is SO GOOD!! Thank you, Kecia N Lamrouex for your devotion to the call on your life through your ministry to our little kids! We are blessed with the best!

Every single miracle in the Bible started off as a problem. The Bible is your remedy! The Refuge Church in Iowa Park, where families grow together in the Word, and find solutions to their problems.. Jesus!

A little over a week ago, our benevolence department led by Dr Lonnie Stewart and Truth To The Nations, along with the financial support of our ministry partners, were able to bless many Native American families who were affected by the recent tornados that struck Oklahoma.
Statistics show Native American women living on reservations are 10x more likely to be murdered. Native American men are also at a higher risk for mental health crisis, suicides, and violence. These numbers are reported significantly less due to tribal and government lines not allowing information on these injustices to be shared. We are partnering with a very special group of people, CHAHTA, to help with the needs of these families, to set captives free, to bind their wounds, feed and clothe them, all through the Good News of Jesus Christ! This group, on the behalf of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, works tirelessly to bring awareness to the missing, the murdered, the overlooked, the underserved, and the abused women and children within Native American families. Thank you to every ministry partner who made this first drop of many possible, whether through finances, labor, or prayer. We are continuing the commandment set before us in Isaiah 58:6-11.

Yesterday was very special. Not only did we enter into the presence of the Lord through worship, Dr. Stewart delivered a life-changing message on changing your life and fulfilling your destiny in Christ. Afterwards, we celebrated Bro. Aubrey Bohanon's 93rd birthday with family in from out of town and a delicious meal. What a wonderful day it was! Thank you, Lord, for every blessing!!!
