What a great beautiful start for 100+ Women Who Care for Hardin Co.
🟢
The meeting room at the 'Grace O Doane Alden Public Library' was full of members with over $4900 given on Monday, our first meeting of the year. On top of that, we welcomed 4 new members making this a group of ladies that's growing and giving for our beloved county of Hardin. To enjoy the scenic beauty of Hardin's Greenbelt has proven to be the winner, Hardin Co. Conservation/Eagle City playground. Member, Lynette, won the vote for the night over South Hardin Trap Team and Grand JiVant`e Senior Living.

Connie Perry has stepped forward to receive mailed in checks and to record members who have given . Any of the committee members will be pleased to receive your checks if that works for you. The check presentation for Hardin Co. Conservation/Eagle City playground will be at the end of the month with the date to be determined. So please get your checks Connie P. by April 28th.

This committee for 100+ Women Who Care is here to serve as much of the county we can. We also welcome member, Diana Pevoteaux from Eldora, to join the steering committee. Hot Topics was something we introduced at the meeting to help serve the membership better. It was discussed with the members at Monday's meeting how to make the drawing of the charity nominations easier. Next meeting in June will see if it works.

This year the meetings will be in our fine Hardin Co. public libraries. June 16th is at the Union Iowa's public library with social time at 5:00 then the meeting starts at 5:30. In October the 100+ Women Who Care meeting will be on the 13th at the public library in Eldora.
🟢
100+ Women Who Care for Hardin Co. has given over $252,000 since the beginning, 2013. As I added up the total for the meeting, Monday, I noticed past years of giving has been high, but I can see we have an upswing since CoVid and would love to have a bumper year in 2025. The ladies of 100+ Women can make that happen.

Have a blessed week heading toward celebrating Easter!
