The BooSt Together For Children Early Childhood Iowa Area Board is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Proposals for FY27 funding to support Family Support Home Visitation services for young children and families in Boone and Story counties.

The RFP will be available beginning September 22, 2026. Proposals must be submitted by November 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

If an award is made, it will be announced at the BooSt Together For Children Early Childhood Iowa Area Board meeting on November 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.

Funding is provided through the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services School Ready allocation and is intended to address locally identified priorities. Programs must ensure that children served:

Reside in Boone or Story County; and
Are prenatal through age five.

Funded programs will be monitored to verify participant eligibility and compliance with all contractual and program requirements.

To maintain a fair and transparent competitive process, prospective applicants and their representatives must not communicate with BooSt Together For Children Early Childhood Iowa Area Board members regarding this RFP during the application period. Any attempt to influence or discuss the RFP with a Board member may affect the applicant’s eligibility for funding.
